Our dojo

A small club where people stay for decades

Rocky Mountain Aikikai meets twice a week at Goodson Recreation Center in Littleton. It's the kind of club people stay with: our instructors and most of our black belts have been training together for many years, some of them for decades.

Classes mix empty-hand techniques with weapons work, and our test nights bring the whole club together on the mat.

We also host seminars with visiting teachers, including Lisa Tomoleoni Sensei, which bring aikido students from across the region onto our mat.

Most of all, it's a friendly group. New people are welcomed, partners look out for each other, and the conversation usually continues after the bow-out.
